Linda and I went to the movies with a gift card from Kay & Bob at Cinemark. Here is what we found and did:
We went in the VIP lounge (comfortable adult lounge with a premiere bar and private movie theatre)
We had great seats (The VIP Room features a private auditorium with 38 cozy leather reclining seats)
We were waited on(A personable server is available and attends to your needs before and during the show)
We had tea and spinich dip with our movie (lots of items to choose from- chinese to popcorn).
We had a wonderful time- quiet, roomy- we are going back next week to see the new Clint Eastwood film “million dollar baby”. Thanks Kay for making me look into a new theater.

Cinemark serves food but I think the only VIP room is on the Plaza in KC! Man it was fun- just like being at home.

Sounds like you had a great time! I will have to fnd a theater like the one you are talking about. Sounds fun! Are they a chain? I have been very into movies at home lately. David is visiting and wanted to go to the movies and I talked him into previousely viewed movies from Hollywood video instead. I’m getting boring in my old age, I guess.

We are certainly glad you enjoyed your birthday present. So many times I get you the book card, and the movies for Christmas. This year since I already had Christmas presents, you got the movies for your birthday. I’m glad it was a great experience- that makes it all worth it!! Delaney loves to go to the movies, we just saw "Racing Stripes"- she cheered at the end!! Loves her popcorn!! Too much like her father.
