We’re going to drive there…

Well I have been looking for tickets to Myrtle Beach- last time they cost me $250 range, today the cheapest is $433.00 to $1113.00 depending on airline and times- I refuse to pay this so we decide to drive. Also, once we get there we have to rent a vehicle so the trip was getting pretty expensive- this way- we give up some time but save some money. We will leave right after Linda gets off work and arrive around 6-7 on Saturday (can’t get into the room until 4 so what the heck). Myrtle Beach- here we come!
Edited: We go March 15- March 21, 2008. We are also checking into Sky Bus (thanks Kris) as an option, you have to schedule each leg of the journey and they are limited but we could do it for $562.00 which is less then I could do for one on the major airlines.

I agree with Kay. You might want to buy something. I hope Ken and I can get in the car on our way home! This is the only place I can get lhim to shop, and he does a FINE job too. Just be careful and drive safely. Mom

The other option is the train… I know my mom enjoyed taking the train, although I’m not sure that prices are always better. Take your time to get there, laugh along the way, make a few stops to see interesting things on your journey… make it fun and it won’t be too bad at all. Have fun!

I like to drive- it is good time together- provided you don’t kill yourself to get there. Rent some good audio books you would both enjoy. Bob and I make list of things we want to get done, etc. And the truth is the airport thing has become such a hassle anyway. Then you can buy things and take them home too!

Like the picture! It puts you right "there". If you can’t find something to do before your room is reday it’s your fault- get groceries…When are you going again? I know it’s in March right?

Another intersting thing- they quote one price, you click to buy it and find it’s up $50.00- $100.00 dollars saying the price can change in seconds due to demand- making the cheapest ticket around $500.00- I have one thing to say…but this is a family site and I won’t swear.
