We can all use some rest…

When the hospital is the only place to relax- we need to slow down, pick up our little one and relax. I wish I was there to do just that. It has been so busy- work has been late every evening, the next two weekends I work, I’m preparing for a conference in Kentucky, trying to help Linda keep up 3 lawns, the garden and the house (summer does spoil you). The best thing would be to lay quietly with Delaney and watch Barney. I do hope to get ALL my packages out this weekend and to finish Nana’s 26 things 2. As much as I might like more hours in the day to get it all done- I’m just too tired so will take this upcoming long weekend to relax, catch up personal stuff and enjoy life while I wait for Matthew to join us!

Went up with Aunt KIMMIE. You always feel good after being around Lanie. I just think of that smile and feel good all over. The room is almost done and is going to be adorable. Kay does such a great job designing the kids rooms.Matthew will like it. Yo, mom, I like the room, now where is your B—. Mom

Hoping we are feeling better…you are in my constant thoughts and prayers and it will not be too much longer…I’m going for September 7th. Then after things calm down- Lala is going to visit Ms. Laney Lou and Matthew Leo (Buffett too) and we are going to have a nice quiet weekend taking pictures. I haven’t used my camera since I got home… it is screaming- shot me!

Well- I don’t give up my quiet time at night with Delaney. That is my 1 hour to read and rest, and savor the fact that right now she still gets my un-divided attention. She has been great lately- very funny with lots of new things to do and say. Probably my only saving grace through my very stressful week. However- last night I got a good night’s sleep, I hurt less today and I am hoping that each day gets a little easier. Thanks for the thoughts and I can’t wait for you to come back out for a visit.
