Earlier this summer I applied for a grant that would give me an opportunity to bring one on one virtual reality into my classroom! Well today I found out my grant was approved ‼️ There was lots of excitement in room 153 today .
Hi Kelsie…waiting for Basketball to begin…
Mark your calendars…our broadway star is the leading lady…Fiona!
Kris got promoted to a new job..
Regional Service Vice President at Comfort Systems USA!
This family has had lots of good news!!!
She said “Yes to the Dress”- Mattie found her dress (it’s secret) but they sure had fun looking and celebrating Nana’s birthday “queen style”.
She said “Yes to the house”- Beth bought her first house, she is very excited.
She said “yes to the Orange belt” in Taekwondo!
She said- “Just try to get by me…not happening today!”
Harley grew into a bigger bed and is doing great at his new school.
I think this was the most fun I have had in forever! First and foremost- I got to see so many of my family which was wonderful.
Mattie also received her teaching certificate and with 4 more classes will have her Masters degree- MORE PRIDE!!! We decided to celebrate with a seafood boil- YUMMY!!!Along with that I got to see the model home and site of her new home.3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, laundry room, open concept- BEAUTIFUL!
Then I got to see my parents but especially my mom for Mother’s Day.
I got to spend time with Kim & Clark and say Happy 41st Anniversary! (Saw Erin too).
Had lunch with Kristy and Silvie- she is a hoot! Her brain never ceases to amaze me.
Silvie found little plastic rings on the ground, I explained they went in the chairs- she figured out how to lift the chair, place it in the right place and push down- she fixed all the chairs missing their plastic bumpers. She also likes arancini (Italian rice balls)! Many wonderful meals sharing memories and hugs- best time ever!
Kelsie started softball- currently 2-0- she plays third base and I have it on good authority (Nana) that she is quite the hitter!
Matthew is getting big and developing his own personality which is just cute!
Last weekend was the “Autism Awareness Walk” for Happiness House- they raised $14, 460 and their was a “Team Storm”.
We had 3 Bailey boys walking that day & many others including Kelly, Kate, Tim & Sandi, Ali, Nikki. Kelly and Kate each sponsored “Team Harley” and they raise over $800.00- great job!
These two girls are done! Darian has completed her undergraduate degree in Social Work and Mattie has finish her teaching degree and finish her student teaching! She has a teaching job already lined up and Darian is already accepted to graduate school- the fun continues…
Kim and Clark have already left for North Carolina, Nana & Poppy will leave and drive Tuesday and Karen will fly Tuesday to celebrate. WOOT!
Silvie just popping in to say “Hi!”. Hoping to catch her for a day when I am down there.
What’s up with you and yours???
Future home site for Mattie and Matt…
Also- Matty signed a contract to be a teacher next year-WOOT!!! She will be at Indian Trail Elementary (Union County School District). They will have 5 positions of K-5, she is hoping for 1st or 2nd.
This is Dee’s new boyfriend- Dane Wilhelm, can’t wait to meet him…
