CLYDE – Edwin A. DiSanto, 81, of Burrell Street, died Wednesday (November 9, 2016) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday (November 13) at Pusateri-Canolesio Funeral Home, 68 Sodus Street, Clyde. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday (November 14) at St. Joseph the Worker Church (St. John’s, Clyde.) Burial is in St. John’s Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church, W. Dezeng Street, Clyde.
Ed was born in Clyde, on February 12, 1935, the son of Ebaldo and Charlotte Judd DiSanto. He operated Baldys Service & Supply Station, in Clyde, for over 30 years. He served as a magistrate for the Town and Village of Clyde, for 18 years and operated the Redemption Center on Route 31, for 20 years. He was a member of the Clyde Fire Department and St. John’s Church. He was also a pilot.
Edwin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis Clingerman DiSanto; daughter, Pamela (Ed) Pierce, of Clyde; sons Michael and William DiSanto, of Clyde; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Ken (Sylvia) DiSanto, of Clyde.
Predeceased by sister, Marjorie; brothers James and Charles.

Today say a little “Thank You” prayer to God- dad had a small procedure on his ear to remove some cancer cells. They got it all, it is not the “really bad” cancer and he is doing well.
Kelsie finally got to see Belle. Nana asked her if she was as beautiful as she thought she would be- she answered “yes!” …”but not as beautiful as me.” So says her daddy who is having a great time.
