Left home on June 23… first stop, FRANK’S Pizza. Great pizza but not the same without Papa. Just saying…
Made it to Clyde in 20 Hours. After pizza got delivered went to Kelly’s house for several days-birthday brunch with Kim and family, Dinner at the Boat Yard Grill, baby shower, visit with Nina, lunch at O’Malley’s, long talks with sister Kelly and trip to Taughannock Falls. Great start to the trip!
Next back to Clyde…went to a basketball game with Kelsie & Sue, visited Pies Guys Pizzeria and got a tutorial on pizza making with Kam & Em, had a picnic with my brother Kenny for his birthday, went to Wolffy’s Marina for lunch with Kelsie and Nana, went swimming at Poppy’s pool with Silvie, dinner with the family at Wayne Hills Country Club and finally, Delaney’s graduation party.
Left Clyde on July 12 with Kim in tow for a visit in Kansas City, made it home in 17 hours! She left today and we are having the roof fixed and some electrical work done in the attic. I will sleep in my own bed for the first time in 28 days.
To all those who took me out to eat-Big Thank You-it was so fun. For all those who ate with me- thanks-it was fun. This was just what you needed to fill your heart after COVID kept us apart for so long. Can’t wait till October!
Family gathering in Matthews for the Mr. & Mrs. Deal Wedding. Celebrating Kevin’s birthday. Picture taken by Silvie.
I think this was the most fun I have had in forever! First and foremost- I got to see so many of my family which was wonderful.
Mattie also received her teaching certificate and with 4 more classes will have her Masters degree- MORE PRIDE!!! We decided to celebrate with a seafood boil- YUMMY!!!Along with that I got to see the model home and site of her new home.3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, laundry room, open concept- BEAUTIFUL!
Then I got to see my parents but especially my mom for Mother’s Day.
I got to spend time with Kim & Clark and say Happy 41st Anniversary! (Saw Erin too).
Had lunch with Kristy and Silvie- she is a hoot! Her brain never ceases to amaze me.
Silvie found little plastic rings on the ground, I explained they went in the chairs- she figured out how to lift the chair, place it in the right place and push down- she fixed all the chairs missing their plastic bumpers. She also likes arancini (Italian rice balls)! Many wonderful meals sharing memories and hugs- best time ever!
Started my day with this little one- many more birthday wishes to follow- Thank you all!
As always…Kris took me to Cascone’s for birthday dinner – (Veal parm, spiedini and pappardelle) You even get a birthday ice cream cake for dessert!
Some of my gifts…Kris gave me a guardian angel, got a tree topper angel from Kay/mom & dad (took the check and gift card) and a Namaste mug from Culver’s- good day!
Thank you for all the birthday wishes and songs and gifts and thoughts- I feel so loved and blessed!
I got to see Kelsie play volleyball, Delaney play soccer, Mom’s birthday, Delaney’s show and shared a meal with almost everyone!
Thank you Carroll family for hosting mom’s get together- we had a blast. Except for…
But we were saved by Kris and Brooklyn!
Best part…sing Happy Birthday to mom…
