I think this was the most fun I have had in forever! First and foremost- I got to see so many of my family which was wonderful.
Mattie also received her teaching certificate and with 4 more classes will have her Masters degree- MORE PRIDE!!! We decided to celebrate with a seafood boil- YUMMY!!!Along with that I got to see the model home and site of her new home.3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, laundry room, open concept- BEAUTIFUL!
Then I got to see my parents but especially my mom for Mother’s Day.
I got to spend time with Kim & Clark and say Happy 41st Anniversary! (Saw Erin too).
Had lunch with Kristy and Silvie- she is a hoot! Her brain never ceases to amaze me.
Silvie found little plastic rings on the ground, I explained they went in the chairs- she figured out how to lift the chair, place it in the right place and push down- she fixed all the chairs missing their plastic bumpers. She also likes arancini (Italian rice balls)! Many wonderful meals sharing memories and hugs- best time ever!
Started my day with this little one- many more birthday wishes to follow- Thank you all!
As always…Kris took me to Cascone’s for birthday dinner – (Veal parm, spiedini and pappardelle) You even get a birthday ice cream cake for dessert!
Some of my gifts…Kris gave me a guardian angel, got a tree topper angel from Kay/mom & dad (took the check and gift card) and a Namaste mug from Culver’s- good day!
Thank you for all the birthday wishes and songs and gifts and thoughts- I feel so loved and blessed!
I got to see Kelsie play volleyball, Delaney play soccer, Mom’s birthday, Delaney’s show and shared a meal with almost everyone!
Thank you Carroll family for hosting mom’s get together- we had a blast. Except for…
But we were saved by Kris and Brooklyn!
Best part…sing Happy Birthday to mom…
Last day gifts…what a ride this has been! Hard to say goodbye to my best buddy “Maddie” the reading dog!
A parent gave me 2 dozen roses, 2 teachers got me this incredible plant, my counselors and team at English Landing got me a blanket with Bear on it, the RV sign, Wild Turkey, and a gift card to Cascone’s and Spin Pizza and my counselor and Team from Renner got the key change with 22 years and thanks for helping kids. My principal got me a photo display. Both teams bought me lunch! Oh- Tommy and Maddox came to have lunch too! Tomorrow night Linda, Ed & Jan are going to dinner at Cascone’s to celebrate the official start of retirement!
Last day of school is May 25…
School social workers gave me flowers, cake and a wall plaque…
Renner gave me flowers and a gift card (Outback)…
English Landing did a cake, gift card (Target), front sign and kids hide in my room and surprised me (80 kindergarteners!) plus home made cards from all the kids!
The big Hersey kiss was to “Kiss this job goodbye”!
Park Hill through a dinner and acknowledged you with a plaque.
This was a fun ride!
Well I had my surgery- went from a “double dang” to “barely boobs”, from sagging to perky.
They took 1000 g & 700 g. 1000 grams = 2.20 pounds- feels like more.
(Kay C- this is the best picture I can do- no actual footage allowed)
It feels so good! Minus the pains of surgery and stitches.
The flowers above were from Jan and Ed & English Landing.
Thanks for all the cards and well wishes- we appreciate them!~
