Delaney was “Flotsam” (Ursula’s eel) in the Encore production of “The Little Mermaid”.
Nana said it was fantastic and Laney was awesome (as always)!
Kelsie had a great time as well- Nana said Delaney had to swim around like an eel and she doesn’t know how she made her body move like that but it was realistic and amazing! Congratulations Delaney on knocking another play out of the park!
I am only here today thanks to the patience and love of a lot of amazing mothers. (Mine especially, but also a lot of grandmothers, god mothers, adopted mothers, and honorary mothers.) I am grateful for them every day, but today I send extra love to those who have lost a mother, those who are estranged, those who have lost a child, and those who long to be a mother. Today is a day of celebration and thanks, but also a day of difficulty for many. I hope you hold yourself gently today. Know that I am grateful that your mother gave us you.
Delaney won the Gypsy Robe Award for her musical, Once Upon a Mattress. A Magical Journey Thru Stages’ Gypsy Robe was started in 2010, patterned after the Broadway Gypsy Robe tradition. Stages’ Gypsy Robe is awarded on opening night to an ensemble member who goes over and above expectations to set a high example of being a team player. The robe is passed from show to show, with a new memento added each time by the honored “Gypsy.”
Congratulations Delaney- our Star!!!
