Christmas morning with Kevin, Kristy & Silvie…
Karen & Linda with Ed & Jan…
A parent gave me 2 dozen roses, 2 teachers got me this incredible plant, my counselors and team at English Landing got me a blanket with Bear on it, the RV sign, Wild Turkey, and a gift card to Cascone’s and Spin Pizza and my counselor and Team from Renner got the key change with 22 years and thanks for helping kids. My principal got me a photo display. Both teams bought me lunch! Oh- Tommy and Maddox came to have lunch too! Tomorrow night Linda, Ed & Jan are going to dinner at Cascone’s to celebrate the official start of retirement!
Linda & I went camping for a few days- she needs foot surgery (plate put in left foot) and I had a colonoscopy- we decided to go chill. Very relaxing- some fireworks and her brother won a YETI cooler which he gave Linda for her birthday! I read 2 books in 3 days- in the past 3 weeks I have read 5 books! We are home now catching up on house chores- still very hot here.
I read the first book awhile back- it is a series with the same main characters- I enjoyed them if anyone is looking for books to read.
Silvie is growing and learning- learned to shake hands and loves her Story time!
Silvia’s new obsession-BOWS!
Kelly got 1st place Mid-Season Championship for Saturday night Mod Lite Hurricanes!
Nina won another beauty pageant- beautiful little girl! (Though we don’t need a pageant to tell us that).
Looks like Nina is getting lots of loving this weekend- Sarah is home!!!
5 years ago this little fellow was born and I am so blessed he is in my life- Happy Birthday Bear- your mama’s love you!
Beautiful weather so we hit the road to the river. Kris…we finally made S’more’s!
Brutis lost 23 pounds and much clean up on the banks.
Love is in the air…
Silvie is sweet and cute as ever… (I think I see some hair!)
Mom & Dad left this morning and arrived safely in Matthews, N.C. They will be there a few days and then headed for their winter retreat at the condo!
Kris is having her surgery tomorrow- Prayers are always nice (as well as a card, might not be able to talk much). Mom & Dad are there to help with recovery.
Surgery went well- got to go home the same day. Half the thyroid and two nodules removed, biopsied and all is well. Today a little sore and swollen but being well taken care of.
Linda went back to the doctor Friday- it’s official- she is done working! We may be poor but we are happy!
One our walks we take pictures- caught this one just right…
What’s up with you?
Linda went to her doctor on Friday (weekly checks) and he informed her he would not release her to go back to work-ever! Her job is too demanding for her leg to be ok and she needed to reconsider her future. She filed for disability (upon doctors request). Takes 4-6 months- we need to find health care and watch the budget till she gets approved (only 1 paycheck). This will take some getting use to for her but I think it is great!
Big snowflakes in Kansas City today (very pretty to look at)- Bear loves the snow- his people- not so much!
