Okay Kay — Here we go FLAT STANLEY

Lets all have a Flat Stanley project like Mattie did a few years ago. For those who do not know about it, here is a link: http://flatstanley.enoreo.on.ca/ They have a template you can use, but I would just assume we all make our own (Mattie – dig out your Flat Stanley if you’ve got him!). Make a little person about 9-12 inches tall, decorate him and get him laminated (you can probably do this at kinkos or buy laminating sheets).

Let’s all walk our own flat person through our lives so that we can all have some fun with it and learn more about one another. I know that I have a number of trips coming up and could have my flat person ride along, because this is fun and can tell a very fun story. Maybe Delaney can have a flat Buffy??? We can all take pictures or put something together and submit them to Aunt La. La, maybe we can create a separate page for our site where our “flat people” stories can reside.

I also saw on the web a person that had a can of old beans that they took around the world with them… it was really funny too!

Oh, and let’s not forget those life cds that aunt La asked us to do. Mine is almost finished, but I haven’t looked to see if it is 80 minutes or less yet. Let’s finish those as well!

I will also try to find Mattie’s old Flat Staley files that I think I have saved in zip disk (Beth, I may need your help to open those since I no longer had a zip drive… I will bring them with me 4th of July).

Let’s all have a “Flat person” unveiling at the Fourth of July celebration. It will be fun for our family! Let me know what you all think…

I still have the original Flat Stanley file from the one we sent to Mattie!! I come across it on my PC every once and awhile and get a good laugh. Reggae Mon still kills me to this day (plus the 2 bottles of wine and picking on Basie!!) I’ll send it off to you.
