Oh my…

What a week…
* my car broke (EGR valve) new part & labor…$300.00
* my desktop died…new Sony Vio & screen $2500.00
* my laptop when plugged in became infected, to disinfect…$30.00
* setting up new computer…rearrange den and hook up…2 days
* web site down, company lost server, time to get back up…2 days
* this week Terri Schiavo and the Pope (soon) died
* Linda has what I had, time to get rid of for me…5 weeks (off work 7 days)

I wish I could say this was all an April Fool’s Day joke…but it is true. What can you do but go on (and get on antidepressants!). Here is to a better next week when I hope to get up some pictures of the beach and Laney.

    Know the feeling all to well….and like they say when "Life hands you lemons, make lemonade" or something to that affect! Hold your held up and keep plugging…..all we can do in this world! Even when it seems impossible…..

    Bummer on all that has happened. Sometimes life decides to kick your butt and I don’t think any of us have figured out why yet. But on the bright side, you got a nice new computer, your car should (hopefully) run great for a while, and now you guys should be over all the flu buggies. You are in my thoughts and I hope you get through it. Love you both, E.

    It was a strange week and yet one that made me sit back and take inventory of what we all have that is "priceless." (The list made me recollect that commercial.) Life and family. The Terri Schiavo case broke my heart on so many levels. I am sure this poor woman did not wish to die her "dignified" death with her husband and his layers present while he chose to kick her siblings and parents from the room. That did not convince me he had her best interests at heart or a dignified death in the "arms of those she loved." Did anyone but me find that bizarre?? And then to keep her burial place a secret?? What is wrong with that picture???

    Anyway… i am sorry for your bad week and hope that despite the every day maladies that plague us, we all come to realize how precious life is!
