New Jersey is our new home

Well, after all kinds of things happening with David’s job, he now accepted a position in Shorthills, NJ. After he already accepted the Long Island one, they came back and asked him if he would like the Shorthills store (the one he applied for and they told him they were looking for someone at district manager caliber). We think it may be a better move due to the cost of living and because it will give me more job options. We think we might be only 45 minutes from NYC, which will be a lot of fun. The place in Long Island would have been over an hour to the city, so now there is the potential for me to work there (although I’m not sure that I want to). Anyway, David will hopefully be getting more money now b/c it is the #4 store in the company (pushed out of the #3 spot due to his store in Puerto Rico). He will be moving in the middle of August and I probably won’t move until after the 1st of the year.

Oh, and I’m going to visit him in Edmonton, Cananda this weekend! I am so excited. We have already reserved a cabin in Jasper, right in the Rocky mountains. We will probably try to do a little hiking and see one of the glaciers. Mostly, we will probably relax and enjoy our weekend together. I will be sure to take lots of pictures for all to see…

Thank you for all the encouraging words… I can’t wait to get back to the states even though PR has been great. This should be great for both Erin and myself. But First, I’m really looking forward to seeing Erin TOMORROW!!!

    Congrats to David.
this has been a merry go round for both of you. It will be exciting to go there and see what the area is like. Go into Monster.Com and see if they have jobs posted. Maybe you will get that million dollar job. Yahoo. Have fun in Canada. Tell David "Hey"

I’ll say congratulations but might wait till it actually happens (I don’t trust Bose). I still though Kansas would be nice!
