This past Friday I participated in a charity event at Tanglewood for the Special Children’s School. I had never played golf, but my friends were happy to teach me. We had a lot of fun but sweated our butts off in the 100 degree sun! I have a new appreciation for the sport and I wouldn’t mind another chance to play in the future! I thought everyone might like to know that I did the family proud!

Kam, you may have to give your cous some lessons, since you are the pro and all!

Don’t go past parallel. Whatever that means. That’s what Kam tells me. Then watch out Onica Sorenson, however you spell it. You will have fun. Nana

Yes, I had fun trying to play golf too! It is a lot of fun, but takes a lot of practice.

Go Erin, Go Erin- I tried to play once- I frustrated Kenny when he was trying to teach me- but keep at at and follow Kams advice. And even if you can’t play- you look the part- great digs!

Yeah, I had a hard time with the head thing and trying to "kill" the ball, but once I learned to relax and just swing, I did much better. I missed the ball a lot though. I need practice! Kam, you’ll have to be my coach! The good news is that I hit pretty straight!

Of course I will teach you! The first step is to keep your head down when you’re swinging, keep your balance, don’t hit it too hard, and make sure you stay in the fairway! When you come up next time, I’ll take you out. Oh yeah, and DON’T throw your clubs… they don’t like that!
