Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
I celebrated by cleaning out my closets- getting rid of the clothes that don’t fit or are no longer in style (they look good).
I also finally finished all my packages:
*Sue- there is a box coming your way that has mom & Kim’s in it- you have pictures and a video/CD on Cheese plus a frame for Kameron.
* Kim- you have a picture and 2 CD’s plus 2 picture CD’s for Beth
* Mom- You have lots of pictures plus 2 for your wall of Nick & Delaney.
* Kelly an envelope is coming your way with pictures and a picture CD with the pitures we took this summer plus Katies pictures she took.
* Kay- there are some pictures of Gerry & Deb and some little things for Delaney and Matthew.
If I left something or someone out- let me know- my brain has been on overload lately. Plus my computer is not doing so well and the CD burner is failing so it is difficult to copy CD’s. It better last till the first of the year because I can’t afford a new one!
We also played a new game called Sequence- it was really fun- Linda and I play all kinds of card games (Uno, Phase 10, Skip Bo, Hit the Deck) with the boys on Sundays but we did it today because of the Holiday.
Hope everyone had a nice relaxing day with their loved ones- I predict Matthew will come tomorrow!
