Kevin Michael…are you ok?

Well Florida is due to be hit again with what could be the most powerful storm to hit Florida in a decade. Frances is as strong as Charley, and twice its size, with hurricane-force wind extending up to 80 miles from its center. Frances is also about twice the size of 1992’s Hurricane Andrew, the Category 5 storm that destroyed much of southern Miami-Dade County. Everyone say a prayer to keep Kevin and his house safe!

David is right on – I already suggested the hurricane party when Charlie it so I told him to send out invites that said "blow me Francis!!!" We are getting tornadoes now so I should probably shut up.

kev, Everybody is right. You do need batteries and a Flashlight… so when the power goes out you can find the Beer! Two Words… Hurricane Party! Best of luck, although by now hopefully everything has probably passed.

Dad keeps me posted on your conversations so I know you are using your head. I hope your home doesn’t get damage. But it is more important that Kevin doesn’t get damaged! I can’t wail on a hurricane, but you know I would if it hurt you. I love you so.
    Love, mom

Kev, I sent you an e-mail but haven’t heard back, so maybe you have evacuated (I hope)… you are more than welcome to come up here and stay with me, although we may get some too. If it turns to get us I may drive to see David in NJ. Please don’t stay b/c it could be bad. I love you and pray for your safety.

Well Kev- the beauty of Florida. It’s that time of year. If you don’t get it the Carolinas will. Make sure you get what you need in your house- water, batteries, flashlight, and have a plan. That’s really all you can do. Be safe we will be thinking of you. Glad it not named Hurricane Matthew- could have been a bad sign for both of us!!
