It makes me feel like dancing…

barn (96k image)

It’s done- the barn is done, organized, clean and exercise equipment ready to go. This was a month long task- we did a lot of purging and pitching- we still need to do a better job inside the containers but for now- I’ll take this.

My that does look good. I just wish I’d get my windows washed! I keep thinking I’ll do that in the fall. Your dad laughs. I remember when I used to get a lot more done, but I didn’t go on as many lunches, golf, gym, social activities. Life is GOOD!!!!!
    I’m with Linda…..Screw the work.

Amen Sister!! I will probably want to do the same thing. We are in the process of de-cluttering and have approximately 10 plastic containers right now of clothes, etc. for a garage sale. Many other things to go- should make some money if I ever get far enough along to actually set up and have the damn thing. We’ll see- gotta get a baby room done first. Got the stuff- just gotta get going!!

We are moving on- to the wall in front of the deck and we have been starting in the garage closet- we want to purge all the size 9 that we will never get back into.
I read two books this summer that "got me in the mood". One was "Sacred Home" which talks about decluttering and the positive energy you will have in your home (this is the same book that said to put chimes outside your door and it will bring wealth- it did!) and the triology by Jane Anderson on her search for herself which was about "letting go" of the old. Just seemed like the right time to let the old stuff go.
By the way Kay- Linda took the last of the screws and just threw them away with a loud "screw it"!

Looks great! I bet you are glad to be done with it!

I need some help organizing too! I have a spare bedroom that has become a throw-all room (YUCK). I have stuff I need to get rid of big time. I need to purge the closet and get rid of two old computers. I have boxes everywhere in the spare room, but then again with a move coming up, I guess it is good I saved them. Once softball is over and things calm down, I am just going to have to tackle it!

It’s a good thing that you are not going to be here longer. I would have had you help with my basement. I hear you’re especially good with organizing nails, screws, misc parts. Bob has a bizzillllllllllllion of those lying around. I just make small steps- some day I will get there. Probably the week after Bob is in the ground- haha!! Looks great- nice when you get one of those big jobs done. Kind of like a baby’s room!!

With this much exercise equipment I should NOT be fat! Oh- you have to use it? We are- this years goal-lose weight so we can go to the beach in March and not look like a beached whale. It does feel really good to be able to walk in the barn and find stuff.
