I wanted to let everyone know that I do not think I will receive the brunt of the hurricane because I am further north-east. BUT, my aunt Janice who lives near the coast said that Raleigh is projected to get some, and that is less than 2 hours away from me. I think I will be fine, but just in case I have stocked up on water, thrown my patio furniture into my storage shed, brought in the plants, and I have full access to my candles and flashlights. I should be fine, but it wouldn’t hurt to say a few prayers… I am a little nervous b/c I have never been through one of these before. How scary it must be for those on the coast! Love you all…

Everything went fine! Weather was not too bad at all, but we did get some very heavy rains about 6-7 p.m. I headed out to buy some sugar free hot cocoa to warm my belly. Roads were covered in water so there was lots of hydroplaning, but I drove slow. My parents thought I was nuts going out, but it really wasn’t bad and I had to get some cocoa. Thanks for everyone’s thoughts and prayers for us NCers.

Breath- in…..out….you are relaxed….you can handle this. Do you know where to go if it gets to strong? People/Businesses there know how to handle these things but they are hard on the nerves- this summer- the tornado was hard but we knew to go into our bathtub with a cover-it passed. I am however praying for everyones safety.
