Meet my new baby! I decided to treat myself with my tax money this year and buy my Starbucks Barista espresso machine. What a joy it is! I got it on sale and saved $100 (sale ends March 7 for those who care to see all the stuff on sale)! I love it! Remember that little questionaire we did not too long ago and it asked what your favorite appliance was? Change my answer to the Starbucks Barista Espresso Machine!
Now I have a small $40 espresso machine that needs a good home – any takers (it’s not the best though, I’ll warn you… but then again I am biased for Starbucks)?
Yes, I love it and I cannot wait to go home and make one! It came with a free half pound of finely ground coffee too, so I chose their decalf Mocha Java! YUM! I am going to make my own grande gingerbread latte with rice milk, no whip cream, right from my very kitchen and drink it while I finish packing. And the way I figure it, 2 grande lattes a week at starbucks cost approx. $416 (around $4 a piece), so it already pays for itself plus some. I will think about the $4 I save every time I make one. Plus, I am allergic to soy milk too, so this is better because I can do rice milk with my allergy (they don’t have it there)! Now I just need a travel mug to take on the plane with me tomorrow (here I come Walmart)!
So Kris, bring your buns to my place soon so we can sip gingerbread lattes till we BURST! YUM!
Make me one- especially right now- I had a 7:00 AM meeting and I’m ready for a nap or a coffee- looks great- bet it taste better and will save the high price of store bought.
