"To appreciate the beauty of a snowflake it is necessary to stand out in the cold."
What did you do on Valentine’s day?
They got there safe…
A burst of snow…
We did brunch with the group here also, and then we did a little shopping. We ended the evening with dinner at some Cajun place near Concord and I got some delicious gumbo! Not exactly a romantic year for us this time, but we enjoyed it! Was kinda nice to make it casual for a change.
Brunch at Mama Ricotta’s so we could share with deebird (btw this is a second valentine’s day that I spent with my mom & dad – I guess that is what single middle aged women do these days! L)
Ours was laid back and quiet, and too funny, we had pasta and garlic bread for dinner!
We went to church, then religion class, then to the cemetery and then in for the rest of the day. We also had pasta for dinner and then ended the day with a Delaney request of Creme Brulee! It was a quiet day for us also- it was NICE!
Started with breakfast burrito’s that what excellent, watching a beautiful snow fall, chilling at home and a home cooked pasta dinner…my kind of day!
