Happy Cinco De Mayo…

In the United States Cinco de Mayo is observed by many Americans regardless of ethnic origins, particularly along the southern border states where there is a large Hispanic population. Although it is no more an officially recognized holiday than St. Patrick’s Day or May Day in the United States, many cities with large Hispanic populations honor the day as a symbolic representation of Hispanic pride and as a representation of a culture that blends both Mexican and American roots.

David’s friends from high school stopped in and so we went out to a great Mexican restaurant and got our drink on… Margarittas and Dos XX for all. We had a blast and the food was excellent too!

We celebrated (minus Erin…sniff sniff) with margaritas and Mexican lasagna! Both were tasty!

Linda and I stopped by our local Mexican joint and had 1 soft taco and a drink. I had a strawberry daiquiri and she had a strawberry margarita (she was a little drunk!)
