Okay, I know the last thing we need to start our day is a discussion on how challenging it is for a few of us to stay regular, but darn it, I’m having issues and I’m trying to resolve them! This was in Woman’s Day Magazine and I thought it could help those of us who need it…
– Eat plenty of fiber. (I’m aiming at Crackel & Oat Bran and Raisin Bran cereal more often)
– Include a mix of nutrients in each meal.
– Cut excess fat.
– Exercise regularly.
– Drink enough fluids.
And Aunt Kay says oatmeal cookies help! It is probably a good idea to stay away from a lot of cheese too. Roughage and apples are supposed to help too, although I tend to eat plenty of that, so who knows. And I SWEAR… coffee is a natural laxative! My friend Vanessa and I used to discuss it in college. So there you have it… Poop well and stay healthy.
