I started an Amazon wish list for my classroom, no pressure or anything i just can’t afford these things as you know so any donations is always appreciated… Mattie
Ken & Sue retiled their entryway and redid their steps…looking good!
Mom, Dad & Kris did a little shopping and replaced the bookcase and table, added a rug, pillows and hung the prints Farley got for them. Beautiful!
The plummer made it! Tub too large- had to cut through my den wall and studs to get it in…hope this is worth it. Twice as long to do, probably more $$$ and more work to accomplish clean up (repaint bathroom and den walls).
My bathroom has looked like this for 1 week- the guy we hired demo’d it and we have been waiting 1 week on a plummer- my patience is wearing thin! Silvie did think it was fun that my bathtub is in my living room. We are putting back in a tub because of Linda’s legs- hope soaking them will help.
Since MLK day- we have cleaned refrigerators and freezers, microwave and ovens, shampooed carpets and cleaned tile floors- tomorrow we tackle the clothes closets!
I also reasoned my cast iron skillet- we stripped it, cleaned it and then did 6 coats of flex seed oil (pics are 1 coat & 6 coats). Cooked in its last night- stick free!
Going through all my warranty files, taking out stuff I got rid of, adding new. Alphabetized- makes looking up information simply. When done will put back into file drawers in garage. Done
Next going through all the bills and scanning them for a digital record. Then I will shred paper and files will be clean. Going to store them in a cloud so I don’t lose them. No trust in external hard drives! 2 files done!
Kay…we found the trim! Trimming out the chiminea. Removing large rock and replacing with smaller rock- will match fountain on the other side.
Garden with over 50 tomato plants…all green. Hope they turn red soon!
Pinterest project. Great way to add light. Drill holes in the top of landscape timbers and add solar lights. Inexpensive and easy to do. Now we just have to lay black landscape fabric, mulch and put on a boarder.
Garden- added fabric to keep out the weeds. Much neater. Also layed down recycled plastic mulch up against the house to keep dirt from splashing on the siding.
We still have the back garden where the wood trim has rooted away (about 100 feet) to replace, finish laying fabric for the weeds and put up the arbor we bought.
Summer is slipping away…
Gravel down, bear paw rock moved, tomatoes tied up…
