I think this was the most fun I have had in forever! First and foremost- I got to see so many of my family which was wonderful.
Mattie also received her teaching certificate and with 4 more classes will have her Masters degree- MORE PRIDE!!! We decided to celebrate with a seafood boil- YUMMY!!!Along with that I got to see the model home and site of her new home.3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, laundry room, open concept- BEAUTIFUL!
Then I got to see my parents but especially my mom for Mother’s Day.
I got to spend time with Kim & Clark and say Happy 41st Anniversary! (Saw Erin too).
Had lunch with Kristy and Silvie- she is a hoot! Her brain never ceases to amaze me.
Silvie found little plastic rings on the ground, I explained they went in the chairs- she figured out how to lift the chair, place it in the right place and push down- she fixed all the chairs missing their plastic bumpers. She also likes arancini (Italian rice balls)! Many wonderful meals sharing memories and hugs- best time ever!
Kay & Delaney went to New York City for Delaney’s birthday. She got to see the play (and meet the cast) of Anastasia. She tried to meet the cast of “Once on this Island but had no luck. They did find the Rockefeller Tree.
Coming home to celebrate my mom’s birthday (a little late) and see a show that Delaney has the lead in,Kris will also be home…can’t wait!
Well, I have some rather sad news. My company denied my vacation request for Christmas vacation this year so I prob will not make it home for the holiday festivities. My boss will be on maternity leave and our two biggest trade shows are right before and then right after Christmas. I’m pretty upset about this decision but there’s not much I can do about it. If something changes, I will let everyone know.
I’m trying to arrange another time to come home… possibly the Wild Witch Ball time frame or Thanksgiving. I may just need to celebrate with everyone a little early this year. Hopefully this will not be every year or I will be heartbroken.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
