Well I’ve talked to a few people who like the “theme” idea so I’m confused. Looking for a yes or no on theme idea- the songs I received I thought were good but missing lots of people (need kids and hubbies). How about a favorite Christmas song- is that better. Let me know- just go to comments and respond.

Well – many don’t get it and others don’t respond so I’m giving up on the theme song. No biggie! My presents are wrapped and will be delivered Friday to Mom & Dad (do you know how good that feels- Christmas done by October).

The villager went to the rabbi to complain about his cramped house. It felt old and stuffy, and when he was inside it, he felt stifled by the atmosphere. The rabbi had some advice. Buy a chicken and put in near the fireplace.

“Though not the master of one’s fate, one may still be captain of one’s soul.”

What is a theme song?
Did anyone watch Alley McBeal? She went to a therapist who told her to pick a “theme song”….a feel good, make you think of you song, when you are feeling blue- pick me up song…not a song about you as a couple- a song that describes you- has attitude…so lets try this again and send me your theme song.

You’ll probably learn… that no matter what happens, or how bad
it seems today, life does go on, and it will likely get better tomorrow.

You’ll probably learn… that you can tell a lot about yourself by the
way you confront a rainy day, lost luggage, elderly drivers, tangled
Christmas tree lights, and other assorted inconvenient events,
and things, that will cross your path at times.

You’ll probably learn… that regardless of your relationship with your
parents, you’ll miss them when they’re gone from your life.

You’ll probably learn… that making a “living” is not the same as
making a “life.”

You’ll probably learn… that life sometimes gives you a second
chance, and often a third.

You’ll probably learn… that if you pursue happiness, it will elude
you. But if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of
others, your work, and doing the best you can, happiness will
find you.

You’ll probably learn… that whenever you decide something with
an open heart, you’ll usually make the right decision.

You’ll probably learn… that even when you have pains, you don’t
have to be one.

You’ll probably learn… that every day is a better one when you
reach out and (literally) touch someone. People love human touch…
holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly touch of an arm, or a
pat on the back.

You’ll probably learn… that people will forget what you say, they will
forget what you do, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

Well seems Karen Elizabeth is going to be a mother- her mother is quite thrilled to be a grandmother- wish I could feel the “love”. Anyway…just thought I’d pass along the news. Please pray that Karen Elizabeth makes good choices and this little one is loved and provided for.

Did everyone remember Nana’s birthday yesterday? Give her a call and tell her how much you love her!

Everyone knew what we were celebrating, the future arrival of little Miss {{popup delaney.jpg delaney 400×181}}. The {{popup cookies.jpg cookies 456×247}}cookies were a big hit as well as the {{popup sea.jpg sea 444×284}}decorations and the {{popup gifts.jpg gifts 260×436}}gifts. We celebrated to a Jimmy Buffet theme so we had {{popup gator.jpg gator 410×227}}gators and {{popup kris.jpg kris 406×242}}fins and cheeseburgers in paradise. A good time was had by all except for those of us who couldn’t be there in body (we were in soul). Thanks Nana for the pictures so those who couldn’t be there can see what a great day it was for Kay & Delaney.

To fix an elbow they put me in a wrist brace…this keeps the muscles from moving that go to the elbow. You don’t realize how much you move your hand- try wiping with the thing on (so I use my left hand which is even more hilarious). Then I also get massage, exercises and a steriod injected into the muscle, 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Isn’t this fun?

Can’t you feel ’em circlin’ (closin’in) honey?
Can’t you feel ’em swimmin’ around?
You got fins to the left, fins to the right,
and your the only bait in town.
You got fins to the left, fins to the right,
and your the only girl in town.

I found the following “fins”:

Well at the end of the month I will need a new photo for the top of the page- any ideas?

Christmas- well I sent an e-mail on that very topic over the week-end. I too am working on my gifts and so I’d like ideas. I would also like to know:what song represents/feels like you or your family? Might be your wedding song, favorite song, theme song. All you have to do is hit the “comments” button on this post and answer (don’t even have to log in). Now to get you in the mood…

Good thing Beth is back. She wrote me today to let me know she could not upload photos. In reviewing this program I found out how to give people the ability to do that and so you all now can upload a photo. Instructions to follow:
Lets upload photos!

Hard to believe it’s been a year- please remember all those who lost their lives on 9-11.

“God bless the men who died this day,
God bless the women,too,
And all the little children,Lord,
Who now reside with you.

And bless the friends and families
That they have left behind;
Enfold each one within Your arms
That they Your peace may find.

Evil may have struck a blow
And brought us to our knees,
But love will raise us up again
And give our heart’s some ease.

Each and every one of us
Has been changed this day some way;
So Lord, be with America
And heal our hearts we pray.”

Amen (Linda Newman)
